European Researchers' Night 2021
SusWater people of UNITO and POLITO participated at the Researchers' Night 2021 in Torino (September 24, 2021).
Our researchers showed their experiments and explained their projects to young and old, gaining the interest and approval of many people.

European Researchers' Night 2022
SusWater people of UNITO and POLITO participated at the UNIGHT in Turin (30th September - 1st October 2022).
An engaging experience that involved Suswater's researchers with the aim of enhancing the dialogue between citizens and science and of sharing their research activities to the general public.

European Researchers' Night 2023
SusWater people of UNITO and POLITO participated at the UNIGHT in Turin (29th-30th September 2023).
Like every year, for this edition too, the SusWater's researchers could not miss the appointment!
An event always much appreciated by adults and children!

European Researchers' Night 2024
Several ERS and ER from UNITO team partecipated at the European Researchers' Night, held on 27th and 28th September 2024 in Turin, in collaboration with the IN2AQUAS research group.
The SusWater project team has addressed this issue by offering the public interactive games, debates and readings for adults and children!
SusWater lab
- A SusWater lab has been set up and has been presented by Paola Calza, Elisa Gaggero and Monica Rigoletto to high school students at UNITO during APERTAMENTE “ApertaMenteChimica”, 13th -14th May 2022, University of Turin, Turin, Italy.

- SusWater Lab at University of Torino, Dept. Chemistry (14th February 2023). It was performed within the framework of GWB2023-Global Women’s Breakfast 2023-Breaking Barriers in Science, organized by IUPAC, with the title “A morning with SusWaterlab@UNITO”. Target group: secondary school students.
- Local SusWater team: Paola Calza, Debora Fabbri, Federica Spina, Enzo Laurenti, Mery Malandrino, Agnese Giacomino, Claudio Medana, Elisa Gaggero, Monica Rigoletto, Paolo Inaudi and Marco Sangermano
- SusWater Lab at University of Torino, Dept. Chemistry (6th February 2024). Water is a precious and irreplaceable resource for life on earth, but unfortunately it is also a limited resource and increasingly at risk due to multiple factors including pollution and excessive exploitation. What are researchers doing to recover and improve water quality? In this laboratory activity the students will have the opportunity to experiment it "in the field", carrying out some experiments in the laboratory relating to the removal of organic and inorganic pollutants from water by exploiting processes developed in European scientific projects (SusWater, IN2AQUAS) by researchers from the Department of Chemistry. Audience: students of Secondary schools, Scientific Degree Plan (PLS)-

Summer School
CHEMISTRY: “The thousand faces of water: properties, uses, treatments and reuse”
A journey that, oscillating between the microscopic and the observable, tells the story of the properties of water and the efforts to be made to preserve it, keep it clean and make it available to all
The activity includes an introductory part relating to the properties of water from a chemical point of view. This will be followed by a large laboratory section in which experiments and observations will be carried out on different aspects of water treatment and in particular on innovative methods of treating the most resistant pollutants.
Participants: E. Laurenti, D. Fabbri, M. Rigoletto.
